The phenomenon of «nation» as a cultural and historical dominant

Annotation

The article is devoted to historical and philosophical analysis of the concept of «nation» is based on the heritage of the Russian philosophers abroad. Requires review of all the scientific and conceptual heritage linked to national issues, the realistic correlation of our understanding of the nation with the events of real history and social practice, is necessary to study the cultures and traditions of the peoples living in Russia for the purpose of formation of the Russian nation and the all-Russian national identity.
