Aim and Scope

The journal "Caspian Region: Politics, Economics, Culture" is devoted to current issues in historical, political, and philosophical knowledge. Social and human sciences view the Caspian region as a crossroads of cultures, civilizations, and politics, while some scholars view the Caspian as the "axis of Eurasia." Therefore, the editorial board accepts materials on a wide range of topics that illuminate various aspects of the development of the Eurasian space and, at the same time, demonstrate the level of development of scientific thought in this vast region.
The journal advocates a dialogue of cultures and the elimination of conditions for a clash of civilizations. It adheres to the principles of political pluralism, a philosophy of non-violence, and cultural and religious tolerance. The editorial board strives to eliminate intellectual barriers and respect the boundaries of the national culture of each people living in the Eurasian space. The journal's goal is to introduce the general scientific community to the results of current research in the fields of historical, political, and philosophical sciences on the development of the Caspian region and the Eurasian space through the publication of original articles, reviews, and critiques.
The journal's objectives are:
