Main Results of the Research Project “Innovation Management in State Electoral Policy”

Annotation

This article presents the main theoretical and practical findings of a two-year research project on electoral innovation. This article examines organizational, managerial, procedural, and legal innovations in electoral governance. It proposes solutions to theoretical, methodological, and applied problems arising in modern scholarship due to the growing interest in the dynamics of public administration institutions in the electoral sphere. The study covers issues of electoral management, electoral law, theories of innovation diffusion, and institutional borrowing. Recommendations for government agencies on implementing innovations in organizing and conducting elections are presented. The study revealed a lack of attention to information support for the implementation of electoral innovations and the problem of public trust in electoral innovations. A system of criteria for evaluating innovations in elections has been developed. The main models of regulatory framework for testing innovations in official elections have been identified and studied.
