Annotation

This article reveals the specificity of the main contradictions of the SCO member States, as well as the prospects for the development of this organization, after the expansion of the number of participants. Today, the SCO is the largest international organization in the world after the UN in terms of the total population of the member States. The priority direction in the framework of the SCO activities is to increase cooperation in the field of security, strengthen the capacity of joint counteraction to modern threats and challenges.
