Annotation

In terms of socio-economic changes in the Russian society a central place is given to educational institutions, ensure the successful functioning and development of society. However, the current Russian teaching is complex, contradictory situation that caused system-wide transformation processes of Russian society. Difficulties are largely due to demographic problems and negative trends in the transformation of the socio-professional status of school teachers. In this connection it is necessary to analyze the status of the features of modern educators. The article gives the analysis of the public opinion polls that were conducted on this topic.
