The article presents a psychological analysis of the problem of personality's information culture. Personality's information culture is understood as one of the components of general culture. It allows a person to freely navigate the information flows, to find the necessary information to critically evaluate information and its sources. Information culture is an essential characteristic of the personality and its professional activity. Information competence is as component of the personality's information culture.
