THE ROLE OF THE SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION IN PROVIDING REGIONAL SECURITY IN CENTRAL ASIA

Annotation

This article discusses the role of the SCO in ensuring national security in the Central Asian region. To date, national security in Central Asia is impossible without regional integration, since the States of the region are not able to independently confront threats, and that overcoming objectively existing obstacles to regional integration at this stage is possible only through the use of resources of the Shanghai cooperation Organization.
