World religions and philosophies and ethical preconditions for the development of a modern economy

Annotation

The article investigates the philosophical and ethical foundations of modern economic development, on the example of the major religions of the world. The recent global financial crisis had not so much economic as spiritual and moral reasons, being largely a crisis of ethical values. In this regard, all the more urgent appeal of traditional ethical values related to world religions, effectively providing a responsible human behavior. As practice shows the last decades and research scientists, world religions have considerable innovative potential for a positive impact on the modern economy.
