Characteristics and functions remittances Transnistrian labor migrants

Annotation

The article describes the migration situation in the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. On materials of statistical information and the results of our empirical study the characteristic of remittances to the region, and highlights their role in the socio-economic development of the country. The results of sociological studies illustrate the importance of remittances for migrant families and socio-economic development of the region.
