Annotation

The article discusses the changes in intellectual and politics field in Western Europe, which took place after the Second World War. Western European intellectuals gained by this time an anormous impact on politics, which did not suit the American political tlite, to develop plans to establish full control not only over the economy and politics of Western Europe, but also to expand and strengthen the USA presence in the culture of Western Europe, eshecially in Italy and France. The article analyzes the ways in which American ideologists intended to eliminate from politics in Western Europe impact factor intellectuals on political processes and dtcisions.
