Annotation

Postmodern put historical science in a fundamentally different situation. Lyotard described as postmodern era collapse of metanarratives that it is especially important for historiography, because it acted as metanarratives basis for understanding the past and structured the historical picture of the world in modern society. Transition to micro-history and historical narratives, the history of mentalities and everyday life requires of new techniques and methods for study of history and legitimation of historical knowledge. В«Linguistic turnВ» creates a new image of historical science and gives new tools of legitimation of knowledge in the new conditions.
