LIQUIDATION OF CULT BUILDINGS IN THE TATAR AUTONOMOUS SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC IN 1930
Annotation
The process of elimination of religious buildings in TASSR in 1930 is regarded in this article. During this period was irreparably damaged historical and cultural heritage of the country. As a result, anti-religious policies numerous unique architectural monuments which is an important part of the national heritage were lost. Particular attention is paid to the activities of the Museum departamet of the Republic, which in difficult conditions ideological dictatorship sought to preserve cultural heritage.
