Annotation

An actual and recently well-discussed question of evaluation the quality of a scientist’s work is raised in the article. The humanitarian side of the problem connected with its ethics and social aspects is involved. In particular, some difficulties of selection adequate criteria and attributes match for description of a concrete science representative’s activity are specified. Some ways of decision the question are traced.
