Annotation
The article discusses the political history of the Kabardian principalities in the system of international relations in the first third of the XVIII century. Reveals the nature, content and the historical experience of the military-political activities of the Ottoman Empire and Russia to implement its geopolitical interests in the North Caucasus during the study period. The place and role of Kabardinian principalities in the eastern Russian politics. The evolution of Russian-Kabardian relations in connection with a change in the geopolitical situation and the development of the Russian North Caucasus, cooperation and collaboration.
