Non-state actors as sources of threats for the international peace and security

Annotation

The modern system of international security is under deep qualitative changes. It is a question of new character of international relations and their updated formalization: in addition to the traditional subjects of international interaction non-state actors have begun to play an active role. Their activity is ambiguous: the one activity promotes stability and safety whereas others – destabilize a situation. The article deals with the classification of non-state actors in international politics and their activities as a threat to international peace and security.
