Military-political situation in the Caspian region
Annotation
The war peril continued after the ending of cold war. The kind of military flareups was changed: local intrastate wars, interethnic and religious conflicts, large-scale terrorist sabotages replaced the military confrontation of two coalitions. Stable trend to militarization of Caspian countries increased. In the article it comes under review potential military flareups in the region and their influence on military-political situation.
