The Anglo-Russian conflict in Persia: discussions in the British Parliament at the beginning of XX-th century
Annotation
The problems of perception of international conflict by its participants are examined in the article with the help of the concrete historical material. The discussions in the British Parliament at the beginning of the XX-th century in connections with the conflict between Russia and Great Britain because of their influence in Persia are analysed. The different evaluations of the conflict, offered ways of its solution, attitude to the opposite side are revealed. The question concerning possibilities of the Parliament to have some influence on British foreign policy is also touched upon in the article.
