The institualization of centrism in Russian Federation: political-cultural approach

Annotation

The specific character of social-cultural approach for the analysis of political centrism, value base, factors of forming and implementation of centrism course in the Russian society were determined. The author offers "medium political culture" as a stable issue of the social-cultural base. The dynamic of political values of Russians was considered. The conclusion about the instability of value points of centralism in mass political consciousness was made. The transformation of the Russian political culture to "culture of compromise", "culture of consensus", and "culture of peace" will help to reinforce the long support of conciliatory strategies in the society.
