Political parties at the parliament of Astrakhan region elections in 2006

Annotation

The first parliament of Astrakhan region elections on the mixed system was held on the 8 of December, 2006. Ten parties participated in the elections. The parties of the left policy took record 38 % in sum. The authority party also reached the record level of support. Political parties did not become more influential subjects of politics, turning to puppet structures.
