The Roscongress Foundation also provided organizational support to the forum. The International Interreligious Youth Forum was attended by both young religious researchers and representatives of various faiths from Russia, CIS and far abroad. The main purpose of the forum was to discuss the place and role of traditional religions, especially Buddhism, in shaping interfaith dialogue and preserving spiritual and moral values in today's polycentric world. Given that the forum was held on the eve of the III International Buddhist Forum, it was important to identify the potential of Buddhism in strengthening interfaith dialogue and solving global problems of our time.</p>
<p>The International Interreligious Youth Forum ЭBuddhism in the Context of Interfaith DialogueЭ (Kalmyk Regional session) was held in Elista from December 5–8, 2024.
