This position is reflected in the Law "On Education in the Russian Federation". The general culture of a person is a way of his social life, social existence, revealing the totality of the knowledge, values, traditions assigned to him, manifested in all forms of his behavior. In other words, it is an integrity that includes an internal culture determined by the personal, activity characteristics of a person brought up in the family and the education system, and education as a mastered body of knowledge characterized by consistency, breadth, comprehensiveness and depth. This article is related to the formation of students understanding of the main value-semantic dominants of modern society and significant areas of history, as well as the need to preserve the cultural life of the country, region, city (painting, music, literature, architecture, fashion, etc.). The problems we are considering related to the dialogue of various types of art can serve as an incentive to realize how inextricably and deeply connected they are throughout the history of mankind, to assess how this dialogue manifests itself in the conditions of our region.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The orientation of Russian education towards the general cultural development of students has historically been one of its priority positions and is regarded as an enduring value.
