The article describes the impact of network policy on citizen participation in political life in China. Network policy was established as a new method of increasing the level of service for the PRC government, through which citizens can exercise their rights in obtaining information, expressing opinions, controlling and participating in management through the Network. Through online political platforms, citizens can also communicate with relevant departments regarding their interests, in order to protect their legal rights. The goal of introducing network policy is to manage, expand opportunities for collecting feedback, protect citizens' rights, promote the active participation of citizens in social management, provide citizens with an opportunity to express their opinion in a convenient format, and more effectively protect their legal rights. The article discusses methods of promoting network policy, the degree of citizen participation in political processes.
