How does the visual urban space, regarded as a context, influence conflicts? The author takes an attempt to discover the complex interdependencies occurring between the visual urban space and the conflict itself when any confrontation happen all that defined by the modern visual culture. The research conducted results in some conclusions that appear to be important for the further studies in the field visual aspects of the city conflicts. The visual urban space stated as a specific urban text represents a bilateral connection to a conflict. First of all it can initiate a dispute among the authors of a text multiple and differentiated as well. On the other side urban conflicts inevitably leave their trace through the visual urban space. Some of them are infinitesimal and other ones obtain the cultural significance and become the part of the urban text. The modern conditions provide multiple levels of urban text creation and therefore the conflict between so called writers tends to fade out.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article explores the visual aspect of the conflicts emerging within the urban space.
