This article is devoted to the consideration of the main versions of the appearance in the Russian heraldry image of the double-headed eagle, identified weaknesses and strengths in each of these versions, shown and understood the role of the appearance on the coat of arms of the double-headed eagle as a heraldic symbol of Russia.
