Cryptocurrency is extremely popular today. In many countries people pay withcryptocurrency and sometimes they even paid salaries with it. In our country, a new currency came relatively recently. Despite the fact that operations with crypto currency in Russia are illegal, its popularity remains quite high. The authors of this article analyzed the literature on this topic and collected material using the method of included observation and expert interview. Despite the high volatility, the most popular cryptocurrency today is bitcoin.
