The article is devoted to the study of migration processes, in particular, the problem of the migration crisis associated with the uncontrolled influx of refugees from Africa and the East into Germany is being considered. There are some contradictions between the way information about migration processes is presented by German media and real problems that arise as a result of conflicts between migrants and the host population. A number of German researchers in their papers talk about the national threat that migrants carry in themselves, while the media, encouraging the so-called "culture of hospitality", hides the problems, describing migrants only from a positive point of view.
