To date, the information sphere is an integral part of modern society, where it is impossible to imagine without the development of the Internet, the media, television and radio. The Russian Federation, in its public policy provides a number of measures and targets to ensure the development of the informational component of the Russian society. Each country is moving towards the information society their way from the initial turn, determined the current political, socio-economic and cultural conditions. The Russian Federation pursues an active policy to ensure the security of the information society, the individual and the state in general and marketing information inventions and social stability is the key to Russia's development in the future.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article analyzes the formation and development of information society in the modern period of Russian statehood based on the legal framework and democratic principles.
