On the basis of the classical definitions of leading scientists partologs the role and place of political parties in the country provides a comparative analysis of the parties in the period. Various aspects of the formation of a multiparty system of the Russian society and its effectiveness in the development of civil society. The author shows the ideological eclecticism, which replaced the communist ideological monopoly and political pluralism of the 1990s., which led to a unique in all respects alloy authoritarian traditions and sovereign democratic innovation differ significantly from many Russian Eastern and Western countries. The study argues that the political party struggle and continue to apply the so-called the notorious В« administrative resourceВ» rather than a resource political parties themselves. The last general federal election campaigns have demonstrated a tendency of gradual transformation of election administrative procedures are controlled and monitored to ensure the continuity of power.
