Article is devoted to the analysis of the content of activity of the main institutional structures in a context of the adoption of objective idea of modern Russia, activization of the Russian policy and formation of its image. It is traced as tasks of Rossotrudnichestvo, Russian President's Directorate for Interregional Relations and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries, the Russian center of science and culture abroad, Interdepartmental council of the Russian center of the international scientific and cultural cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, within their competence, influence formation of image of the state, honor and prestige of Russia, perception of the country all world community. The conclusion that in the conditions of formation of information society when information volumes immeasurably increase, its substantial variety increases is drawn, the new technologies, allowing to transfer information practically to any distances in real time take root, responsibility of institutional structures for the direction and the content of their activity increases. Image develops in public opinion and consciousness, the effective institute of civil society which is actively participating in formation of global image parameters. Institutional structures need to create the foreign policy image of Russia inspiring her citizens and a defiant positive resonance in world public opinion. As the public phenomenon of the politician has difficult structure of influence on image of the country which is caused by diversity and discrepancy of communications of subjects of the political relations and a mnogofaktornost of their impact on various aspects inside – and a foreign policy image of the country. Realization of such influence is impossible without a certain system of the political power representing the mechanism of political influence by means of which image of the country is formed, there is its transformation and translation.
