In this article the authors analyze several strategic approaches of development of the modern world in the conditions of cultural diversity. The declared recognition of all cultures equivalent and noteworthy and respect can't automatically lead to chaos and disintegration overcoming. It is necessary to elaborate the strategy of development and methods of it's realization. Authors consider some leading strategy of world development approved in modern conditions: "cultural globalization", nationalism revival, multicultural strategy. "Cultural globalization" must lead to formation of global metaculture, revival of nationalism represents a paradoxical combination of processes of globalization, modernization and fundamentalism, and multicultural strategy is directed on transition from policy of individual "inclusion" and group distinctions in wider structures to policy of "recognition" of their right for existence as "others". Authors come to conclusion that all these strategy couldn't solve all problems facing society, and therefore there is a question of development of new method, capable to solve problems of cross-cultural, international interaction without power actions and economic sanctions.
