The subjective perception of the specified categories during a certain historical era allows to see culture of society in all completeness and variety. However the circle of sources on this subject is quite poor. Therefore it is necessary to address to certificates of the foreigners who have visited Russia during the studied period, and to analyse those data which, to some extent, reflect the specified perspective. And though certificates of Europeans in the matter are limited owing to specifics of a subject, it is quite possible to allocate necessary information. In article the following objects of the daily world of the medieval Russian which can be referred to category of space are investigated: house (and house adjoining territory: yard and service premises), settlement, country and "others" territory.
