In this article the author considers the stages of development of philosophical and political knowledge in West European and Domestic sciences during the last two centuries. The author investigates the various approaches in estimates of a role and value of theories which have played a crucial role in the process of formation the political philosophy as independent scientific discipline. He allocates historical stages and the subject description of each discipline which was taking part in development of philosophical and political knowledge.
