The article attempts to theoretical comprehension the problem of political power resources. Particular attention is paid to a detailed review and analysis of works by contemporary Russian and foreign scientists devoted to the study of various aspects of political power resources. The author notes that a considerable part of Russian political studies relate to analysis of resource capabilities of subjects, but problems of interdependence of political processes in terms of human resource role in politics remain outside the purview of researchers. And concluded that currently the theme of political power resources requires a more serious theoretical and practical consideration, not only from the perspective of political science, but also from the other sciences.
