                   on an example of the Lower Volga region. The author allocates two basic directions of financial support of pedagogical collectives. In the first place, it is the central legislative initiatives, which were set as an object to approach level of the teachers` payment to an average level of a payment in the country. In the second place, are considered the specific arrangements, which were accepted by heads of the secondary specialized educational institutions, for preservation of the pedagogical collectives. In article is made the comparative analysis both the teachers` payment and the payment of the workers of another economic sectors in the Lower Volga region.
