The reasons for this situation can act as a significant increasing to create a name for the scientists themselves in science, receiving prestigious awards, or get promoted the career ladder that all leads to the temptation of ignorance, misrepresentation and concealment of the truth. The article discusses the causes and consequences of fraud which began to reign in the world scientific community. The author gives the examples of attempts to combat scientific fraud in Russia.
