The phenomenon analysis "escape from freedom", presented in the middle of the XX century E. Fromm, in modern society gains the increasing relevance. In article are analyzed the source and mechanisms of this phenomenon reveal, the psychological, sociocultural, political factors promoting its strengthening. Research of the theory of E. Fromm supplements the process analysis "escape from freedom", characteristic for the modern youth which created in the conditions of information age and has faced its calls.
