There is a ground that public-private partnership system (PPP) is the most optimum alternative of tourist market regulation under existing conditions, as PPP provides joint activities and joint responsibilities of business and public bodies when managing tourism field. The interaction model of public and private actors in the tourist service field in Astrakhan Oblast is worked out; the model describes that the interaction of partnership members supposes to build, in the first place, special platforms to discuss the challenges relating to further tourism development in Astrakhan Oblast.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines the challenges in the field of tourism development management in Astrakhan Oblast.
