The history testifies, that long before occurrence of modern elitology, the matters of elite and exclusivity were considered by theology and philosophy. The methods developed by them and receptions of research have presently certain value, and should be used actively by elitology itself. This work consideres which rules deduced by theological elitology, can be applicable to modern elitological researches and be successfully included in a methodological arsenal of this science.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Theoretical roots of elitology date back the epoch when religious-mythological representations about selectness still dominated.
