In the present article there is a focus on the problem of manipulation in the process of cutting out the electoral districts as a method of electoral targeting at the preparatory period of the elections – “gerrymandering”. The examples are taken from the practice of foreign gerrymandering. The author reveals the mechanism of getting political advantage and maximization of government power in electoral body of some political party or some candidate.
