The author writes that the North Caucasian Federal District and the Southern Federal District includes the area most prone etnocofessional crises and risks that may affect the policy of the Russian Federation. Interaction experience ethnic and religious policies in these regions must be considered when identifying priorities in the formation of ethnic and religious policy of the Russian state.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Among the factors influencing the political process in the South of Russia, a special place is occupied by ethnic and religious, which interact with each other, to a large extent, the situation in the region.
