Among the factors influencing the political process in the South of Russia, a special place is occupied by ethnic and religious, which interact with each other, to a large extent, the situation in the region. The author writes that the North Caucasian Federal District and the Southern Federal District includes the area most prone etnocofessional crises and risks that may affect the policy of the Russian Federation.
