The article is devoted to the key problems of formation and further strengthening of the dialogue between the ethnic communities of migrants and the local population of the Volgograd region. Analyzed the current migration situation in the region, as well as the system of interaction of bodies of state power and bodies of local self-government with public organizations of ethno-cultural minorities in the sphere of migration and ethno-social policy. Published the results of in-depth interviews in the field.
