The article is devoted to the analysis of motivations and confirmities of forming the electoral behavior under the influence of the political-cultural factors. The emperical methods of the electoral behaviour analysis are interpreted in it applying to the motivations of the townspeople's choice, the comparative analysis of the motivations of the electoral behavior of townspeople in the Russian regions, the influence of the regional political culture of Kuban is established on the electoral behavior of townspeople, the expert interrogation is conducted according to the formed research programme.
