The reserves of oil and natural gas are considered as factors of development of possible ethnopolitical conflicts in the Caspian region. Delivery of oil and gas to the international trade market is one of the geopolitical problems of Caspian countries. The decision of this problem is connected with the lack of the legal status agreement on the own ership between subjects of the Caspian area. At the same time we need consolidation strategy to prevent possible ethnopolitical conflicts.
