<p>Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, while facilitating the growth of higher education's technological sophistication and efficiency, have exacerbated a number of problems: inappropriate borrowing, attribution of authorship to AI-generated text, unreliable information, inappropriate citations, etc., highlighting the need to update approaches to academic ethics, particularly as they relate to the work of students, who are increasingly and actively using AI technologies, often without appropriate regulations. Such an update should be undertaken within the framework of experimental philosophy, which enables the correlation and integration of the most significant achievements of philosophical thought with the real needs, demands, and expectations of students to most effectively structure the educational process in the context of digitalization. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to identify the most general foundations for an effective ethical orientation of students with regard to AI technologies, using both philosophical research methods and sociological approaches. The authors, through a conceptual analysis of the main philosophical approaches to ethical issues, based on a survey and experimental socio-philosophical research, conclude that it is advisable to formulate ethical concepts regarding the fair use of AI technologies in the educational process based on I. Kant's categorical imperative in combination with the principles of transparency, fairness, honesty, non-harm, personal responsibility, and confidentiality.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>академическая этика</kwd><kwd>высшее образование</kwd><kwd>достоверность сведений</kwd><kwd>информационно-коммуникационные технологии</kwd><kwd>искусственный интеллект</kwd><kwd>образовательный процесс</kwd><kwd>ответственность автора</kwd><kwd>трансформация высшей школы</kwd><kwd>этика</kwd><kwd>этика искусственного интеллекта</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>аcademic ethics</kwd><kwd>higher education</kwd><kwd>reliability of information</kwd><kwd>information and communication technologies</kwd><kwd>artificial intelligence</kwd><kwd>educational process</kwd><kwd>author's responsibility</kwd><kwd>transformation of higher education</kwd><kwd>ethics</kwd><kwd>ethics of artificial intelligence</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group xml:lang="ru"><funding-statement /></funding-group><funding-group xml:lang="en"><funding-statement /></funding-group></article-meta></front><body /><back><ref-list><ref id="ref0"><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">1.
